Essence Beauty at Target Haul and Review!

Hey guys! So Target just recently started to carry the makeup brand Essence Beauty. This inexpensive makeup brand has prices comparable to Elf so obviously I had to pick up some items to review. I bought a foundation, 2 concealer sticks, eyebrow gel, and quick dry nail drops.

Check out my video below for a closer look at the items.

I am going to be doing a separate video/post reviewing the Matte foundation more in depth.

The Essence brand has a great variety of items that included concealers, foundations, powders and blushes for the face. For the eyes it has mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. Also they have a ton of nail products that I really want to try. They have a wide variety of "gel like" nail polishes in beautiful colors as well as top and base coats. I didn't see anything over $10 which is the perfect price point for me.

My favorite item that I picked up was the quick dry nail drops. These were $2.99 and dry my nails quicker then the Sally Hansen drops I normally use. The green concealer is really great because it is creamy and blends out beautifully. I like how it comes in crayon form as it is easy to put on the intended spot. The concealer crayon that I picked up also blends out beautifully and covers little imperfections. It can go a bit cakey depending on your foundation so be aware of that. Both of them also transfer easily so when I blow my nose I notice they come off onto my tissue. The eyebrow gel is a dead knockoff of the Benefit Gimme Brown for less then half the price! It works really great because unlike other eyebrow gels I use this one doesn't leave a crusty shiny gel texture to the brows. It leaves them soft but still keeps them in place. I am definitely going to repurchase this when I run out.

Let me know if you guys have tried anything from Essence Beauty and what I should pick up next. XOX Chan
