Florida Wedding Adventure!

So the hubby and I made our way to Orlando, Florida this past weekend for a wedding. Two of our best friends who have been dating since high school got married and we were both honored to be in the wedding party. We packed his tux and my Bridesmaids dress into our luggage and away we went.

We flew into Orlando Thursday night and checked into our beautiful hotel. It had a large master suit with full bathroom and giant closet, a room with bunk beds, another room with 2 twin sized beds, a giant kitchen and living room and a balcony with a beautiful lake view.

We made our way to another room with the rest of the bridal party and drank wine and socialized. It was great. The next morning we went to the rehearsal. It was a chilly 55 degrees so I wore a long blue chiffon maxi dress, jean jacket and had my hair in a top knot. The location was beautiful and right on the water. They had a little wooden overhang built at the end of a rocky walkway. The reception would be held a few feet away where a tiki bar and tables were set it. It was so beautiful! Guests would be brought over by boat from the hotel just across the water.

During the day on Friday my hubby and I along with some friends went mini golfing. The course was so fun! We then went to Downtown Disney for dinner, drinks and to soak up the Disney magic.

The next morning was wedding day! All the bridesmaids went to a house that was rented on the property for hair, makeup and pictures. The groomsmen went to Starbucks and did guy things. Once 4:00 hit and guests were in their seats the Groom rode onto the beach in a Speedboat to the song Danger Zone. It was awesome. Once we were all lined up, the stunning bride came down the aisle. Her dress was white vintage lace perfection. Her hair was in an up do with a diamond headband that matched her sash. She also had deep berry lips which looked great. The ceremony was perfect as the groom cried when he saw his beautiful bride.

After the ceremony we made our way to the tiki bar for drinks. My favorite was the Pineapple Mojito. We ate brown sugar pulled pork among other things from the buffet and gazed at the stars while we danced on the beach.

It was a perfect wedding filled with friends, family and love. Feel free to scroll through the pictures above!

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Brown :)
